BRIT Awards 2013 Hairstyles
London’s O2 arena was shining bright with all the stars attending the 2013 BRIT Awards ceremony. Take a look at our hair salon in Gloucester’s take on the 2013 BRIT Awards red carpet hairstyles.
Hairstyles at the BRITs 2013 – Long Hair
Jessie J’s hair was long, sleek, raven black and centre parted for her BRIT Awards 2013 hairstyle. Her trademark fringe seems like it’s no more with Jessie opting to grow this out in favour of the bangs either side of her face.
Rebecca Ferguson’s 2013 BRIT Awards hair was achieved using a hair piece positioned towards the back of her crown. A simple way to cheat your way to that illustrious Hollywood star curled hairstyle!
American sweetheart and recent victim of Harry Styles’ charms Taylor Swift wore her hair long and loose for her red carpet BRIT awards 2013 hairstyle. See what you’re missing Hazza? See?
Updo Hairstyles at the BRITs 2013
It was all high knots and braids for Pussycat Dolls’ Ashley Roberts for her BRIT Awards red carpet hairstyle. Her fringe was braided back into the high top knot hairstyle to complete and finish this simple updo 2013 BRIT Awards hairstyle.
Emeli Sande’s 2013 BRIT Awards hairstyle was once again shaved at the sides but the top kept long to help her achieve her towering high up do. Emeli’s elegant short updo hairstyle in the platinum blonde colour really brings out her features, especially her gleaming smile.
She showed us how to transfer her wacky style to her hair at the BAFTAs and Paloma Faith’s Poodle Curls were the talk of the 2013 BRIT Awards hairstyles. Her very tight curls were piled high and wild, just like Paloma herself!
Brit Awards 2013 Hairstyles – Hair Colour
Stooshe tell us they’ve fallen for a monster but we think the reality is they’re going to fall off a monster – well that middle one anyway! She’ll be falling off those monstrous shoes if she’s not careful! Sadly Stooshe’s array of rich hair colours didn’t detract from the shoes but they showed us dark plum hair colours, dark brown hair and even platinum blonde for their 2013 BRIT Awards red carpet hair. Shame the middle one raided Emma Bunton’s charity shop donation bin bags from her Spice Girls days.
Delilah’s Ombre hair colour looked sensational for her 2013 BRIT Awards hairstyle. This dip dyed hair trend looks like it is here to stay and Delilah displays one of the best.
Tom Odell shows us that the Ombre hair trend isn’t necessarily just for the ladies with his Hanson esque floppy sunkissed locks. We love his Ombre man do.

Amy Winehouse honoured at the BRITs
She was the iconic Queen of the Beehive Hairstyle who has been posthumously nominated in the Best Female category at the 2013 BRIT Awards. Amy Winehouse and her trademark look encouraged a legion of ladies to follow her hairstyle so it seems only fitting to mention her here too. Her parents were there to honour her memory with Dad Mitch showing off a touching tribute to his daughter in the form of a bespoke printed Amy waistcoat.
