Marina

I have been passionate about hairdressing from as young an age as I can remember and started my career at 13 in a local City Centre salon working every hour they could offer me. To reward my enthusiasm I was offered a full time position and completed a formal apprenticeship.

My first salon opened in 1989 and I have proudly never looked back!  In 2003 together with my husband and following a very well thought out design we renovated our current premises having out grown the much loved previous one.  This enabled me to indulge in my long standing passion and incorporate La Bella Beauty.

Hair and beauty remain my obsession and I love the products we work with and I believe all of our products, treatments and services are simply the best.

My continuing professed aim is to help everyone to look fantastic and give careful tailored advice to every client. I love working with my team and can honestly say I totally enjoy being around them!

When not working at the salon Marina is relaxing with her beautiful family in her ‘glamourvan’ or slaving away at a hot stove spoiling the rest of the team and clients with her simply delicious gluten free cakes!

Marina’s top tip – “Follow a tailored professional hair & skincare regime and look your best ever. I love all the ranges! “

Emma

Hello my name is Emma. I Started training in 2004 and qualified in Beauty therapy NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 in 2006. I have been a Beauty Therapist for over 17 years and always knew  what I wanted to do since I was 10. I couldn’t think of any more rewarding career I’d rather do.

My favourite treatments are Facials, Massage, Novalash Lashes and Brow Lamination.  I take pride in giving 100% in my treatments so my guests feel pampered and relaxed. Since 2012 I have been travelling. I love exploring different countries, starting new adventures, experiencing different cultures and trying new things.

Ashley

Hi I’m Ashley,

I am a Senior Stylist  and qualified barber NVQ level 2. I am also qualified in Ladies NVQ level 3 hairdressing. I enjoyed achieving my level 2 and level 3 NVQ and I am excited to learn more and further my skills in ladies and gentlemen’s hairdressing at Fringe Benefits.

I have always been enthusiastic about hairdressing and fashion. My creative personality supports my hair work well especially when finding new ways to style and put hair up.

Vintage hair and fashion has always been a passion of mine. I often practice vintage hairstyles on myself as I enjoy refining my styling skills.  I would love to put my skills in vintage styling into use in the salon.

I am thrilled to be part of this team and am eager to deliver a personalised and enjoyable service to all my  Guests.

Daisy

Hi my name is Daisy.

I am an apprentice and I really enjoy every aspect of my job, especially colouring and cutting. I have learnt so much in a small amount of time such things as, learning all of the assisting roles and systems in the salon and helping with treatments. I can now apply treatments, shampoo and remove colours. I also give a great head massage at the backwash!

I love to take care of our guests, offering them refreshments and making sure they feel comfortable and relaxed in the salon. My favourite time is when I am taught new things, challenging myself and not giving up. I have just started to do my own models so if you fancy a complimentary blow dry I am definitely the girl for you! Over the coming months, I will be doing more practical hair work and challenging myself to do new things.

I am determined to succeed in my career and become a talented Hair Designer. I have already learnt a lot about our Redken Range. I can recommend the best products for our Guests. My favourite product in the range has to be Extreme it’s made such a difference to my own hair.

Looking forward to seeing you soon x

Grace

Hi, I’m Grace

I love working at Fringe Benefits as an Apprentice alongside with Marina and the Team. I really enjoy the buzz of the salon meeting and greeting the guests when they arrive. Every day is a school day and I thrive on learning something new about our industry. Hands on training has grown my confidence and I can’t wait to learn and become a talented hair stylist

One of favourite Redken products is one united. It has 25 benefits and detangles my hair in an instant!

I can’t wait to take care of you all.

Mia

IMG 5302Hi, my name is Mia,

Hairdressing is my passion and I am now qualified at Level 2. For the past 4 years, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my journey so far. I am super friendly and love welcoming my Guests, making you feel relaxed and comfortable in the salon, and giving great service.
It’s such a rewarding feeling when creating a guest’s style and colour vision.  I love the reaction when I create beautiful hair, making you look and feel your best.

I’m fascinated by all things fashion, the latest trends in hair and beauty and trying the latest products.

One of my favourite products is Redken Extreme Mask. It is nourishing and makes your hair feel amazing! It’s also super quick to use at home between appointments. I also love the Acidic Bonding leave-in treatment.

My top tip is to always use a clarifying shampoo once a week to remove product or purple shampoo build-up. Detoxifying your hair helps to give a blank canvas for masks or repair products and helps them penetrate the hair properly.

I am so excited to develop personally and further my skills with Fringe Benefits.

I’m so looking forward to meeting and taking care of you x
